HOUSEHOLDERS are being urged to be careful of what they put in the rubbish after a chemical spill put three dustmen in hospital.

The incident happened on the old A3 - and the three men were taken to St. Richards hospital in Chichester suffering from weepy eyes, sore throats and skin irritations.
