THE future of the Whitehill and Bordon 'eco-town' bid was thrown into doubt before Christmas, as one of the companies involved in building the new army camp in Wales withdrew from the project.

The army is due to leave Whitehill and Bordon in 2013, leaving tracts of land open to redevelopment.
