An Anstey Junior School pupil has completed the Joe Wicks 1,000 ‘bearpees’ challenge in aid of BBC Children in Need.

Harriet decided to raise money to help others as “Children in Need is inspirational in the work they do” and she wanted to challenge herself.

Headteacher Emma Humphrey said: “Everyone at Anstey is really proud of Harriet.

“She has worked hard at this physical challenge and is a fantastic example of how to role model the Anstey values.

“It must have taken lots of resilience to complete more than 1,000 ‘bearpees’.

“It is wonderful to know that Harriet has been thinking of others while taking on this challenge. Well done Harriet!”
