YOUNGSTERS at a Farnham infant school have bounced their way to a huge fundraising total.
The Parent Teacher Association at St Andrew’s Infant School organised the annual sponsored bounce event on March 15.
Said to always be a great fundraiser, it is also hugely popular with the children.
The pupils had one minute each to do as many bounces as they could on a bouncy castle in the school hall.
One child even managed 125 bounces!
Everyone received a certificate for taking part and there were large chocolate eggs for the bounciest boy and girl in each class.
The event raised a whopping £1,400 for the school, which will go towards buying Sound Clouds in the hall.
Sound Clouds are panels installed on the ceiling to help stop sound reverberation.
Catherine Floyd, assistant headteacher at St Andrew’s, said: “It is so lovely to see all the children cheering each other on, but perhaps we could have done with the Sound Clouds on that day!”
