YEAR 11 students at All Hallows Catholic School in Farnham have achieved record breaking results once again this year, with 83 per cent of students achieving five A* to C (or 9 to 4) grades including both English and maths.

Furthermore 38 per cent of all grades were at A* to A, (or 9 to 7). Headteacher Patrick Doyle was full of praise for their achievements.

“This year group should be extremely proud of what they have achieved, because they are the first year group who have had to navigate their way through a combination of old A* to G graded GCSEs and new 9 to 1 graded GCSEs.

“The determination and resilience they have shown to overcome the new challenges can now be seen in the fantastic results they have achieved.

“It has been a pleasure to work with them and we are extremely grateful for all the support and guidance they have received over the years from their teachers and families.”
