WEYDON School’s Year 7 basketball team were victorious in their district cup final against Tomlinscote – winning 32-14 with every player scoring a basket to contribute to the win.

It was an “incredible team effort” according to coach Adam Allaway, who added that captain Tom Prosser made the difference with his four baskets and leadership skills.

The Weydon coach continued: “I am very proud of the boys. They have worked very hard at training each week and every single player has played their part in winning the trophy this year. They really are the definition of a team.”
