TESCO has said it “regrets” a shortage of some products at its Bordon store.
Following concerns from some customers in the town, the firm admitted it had fallen short of its own standards.
Bordon Tesco shopper Mike Steevens highlighted the issue with the stock levels, adding that at times “the shelves are empty”.
Although it has been suggested the store’s difficulties are caused by reduced night-shift staff, Tesco did not offer an explanation in response to the complaints.
But a spokesman said: “We regret that some of our customers have been disappointed by availability in our Bordon store and we haven’t met our own high standards.
“The store is now gearing up for the festive period and our colleagues are looking forward to serving our customers and helping them to have a fantastic Christmas.”
