MORE parking tickets in Petersfield could be on the way after East Hampshire District Council moved a step closer to taking on the powers for parking enforcement.

And for those who take the chance of parking on single or double-yellow lines and zigzag markings outside schools in the town's streets, it could result in a whopping £70 fine.
