The Alresford Community Choir is giving a Songs In Remembrance concert at St John the Baptist Church in New Alresford on November 8 at 7.30pm.

The programme will include Crossing The Bar, Let Us Now Praise Famous Men, The Bold Grenadier, La Mer and Moon River. Retiring collection proceeds will be shared between SSAFA and the Royal British Legion.

SSAFA Hampshire community engagement volunteer and choir finance trustee Sally Wesley said: “This concert is a chance for us to come together as a community to reflect and remember through song.

“We’ve had wonderful feedback in the past and we’re proud that this year’s event will support two charities close to our hearts.”
