THE parents of Haslemere resident, 21-year-old Zac Combe, have paid tribute to their “gorgeous boy”, who died following a road traffic collision last Saturday.
Surrey Police was called out just after 4am on June 3, following reports of a van hitting a pedestrian on the A3 southbound near the Thursley junction.
Officers attended, together with South East Coast Ambulance and Guildford and Godalming fire crews, but he was sadly declared dead at the scene.
The circumstances of the collision remain subject to an on-going investigation.

“He can never ever be replaced and will never be forgotten, his laughter, his joy of life, smile and love for everyone was touched by so many, more than we could ever have imagined.
“The messages of support and love we have received since our lives stopped has been truly overwhelming.
“We want to thank everyone for their help, love and prayers, we feel truly blessed and so lucky to have had our beautiful Zak in our lives for a short 21 years, but 21 years we can be truly grateful for. God Bless You Zak, love mummy, dadsta, Haz X X X.”
