One of Farnham’s most notable landmarks is back in working order after a period out of action.
The Farnham Clock Tower, which stands above Castle Street, is known for its distinctive chime, used by some residents to tell the time.
Just after Christmas, residents noticed the clock had stopped chiming and fallen out of sync.
People living in The Borough and Castle Street said they were left “frozen in time” while the clock was out of action for repairs.
Resident Anne Cranshaw said: “We noticed they were working on the clock and shortly after we started to hear it again. However, it was very sporadic, but after a while the clock got up to speed and was chiming as it once did. It was brilliant to wake up to.”
