A CHARITY fashion show hosted by Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Farnham in aid of Phyllis Tuckwell last month raised £148 for the hospice care charity.
Having raised more than £2,000 for the charity since the West Street shop started these events, the local marketing manager, Trudy Kitabayashi, said the show was: “A great night full of fun and laughter. Our ever-loyal customers had a fabulous evening.”
Among the regulars, the then-Mayor of Farnham, John Ward made a guest appearance with his wife Gillian, in what would be their last official engagement.
Gillian was said to have enjoyed shopping at Edinburgh Woollen Mill and bought a good selection of clothes, enjoying the 20 per cent off as all our customers did.
