A FATAL accident on the A283 in Chiddingfold has evoked an angry response from parish councillors who describe the road as a "deathtrap".

Ernest Watkins (76), from Bramley died in the accident when his Jaguar was in collision with a Mercedes last Wednesday.

Chiddingfold parish councillors are calling for a reduction in the speed limit on the road.
