A new festive-themed pop-up is helping Farnham get into the seasonal spirit as a development in Brightwells Yard hosts a showcase of local creativity this month.

A local design studio has brought a burst of colour to the scheme with a festive pop-up celebrating local talent, craftsmanship and community, offering visitors a welcoming space to explore the work of makers from across the region.

Supafrank, the studio led by designer Katie Steel, has opened the Merry Market & Creative Hub, running until November 27. The three-week event brings together independent makers, small brands and creative professionals from across the area in a space designed to spark connection and imagination.

The Brightwells Yard unit has been turned into a lively market and workshop space, with a pop-up shop, mini photography studio and hands-on creative sessions. Products include handcrafted homeware, stationery, art prints and thoughtful gifts, many made by local artisans.

Steel said she wanted to “create a space to share stories, ideas and inspiration, especially at a time of year when we’re all thinking about giving and connection.”

She added: “The Merry Market isn’t your average festive pop-up. Each piece we feature has been chosen not just for how it looks, but for the story behind it. We want people to leave with something that has real meaning.”

Visitors can also take part in creative workshops aimed at helping small business owners, entrepreneurs and creatives develop their ideas. Sessions include branding clinics, Instagram support, creative writing and journaling workshops.

Photographer Matt Wreford has joined the Supafrank team to offer portrait and product photography throughout the event.

The Merry Market & Creative Workshops run until November 27 at Brightwells Yard.
