THE RSPB gave an assurance this week that wildlife comes first on its Farnham Heath Reserve, as it faced criticism over the decision to allow part of the reserve to be used for filming of the American action movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron. One critic, posting on the charity's website, wrote: "I arrived at Farnham Heath main entrance last Friday evening to be greeted with two large notices, one of which was headed 'Be Vigilant' and referred to 'explosions, gunshot and action vehicles moving at speed'. "How can this be compatible with a nature reserve and how can it not disturb the birds? The RSPB should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen."
