FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the Stoke Hills estate near Farnham Park this morning after an "explosion" in a garden shed.

A thick plume of smoke was seen above Farnham at around 10am on Thursday after the blast led to a fire that spread to an adjacent family home.

Fire crews from Farnham, Guildford and Rushmoor quickly brought the blaze under control and are currently making the scene safe.

Surrey Police and SEC Ambulance are also in attendance. No injuries have been reported.
