A PACKED congregation at the church of St Mary Magdelen in Sheet said their goodbyes this week to a Petersfield man whose generosity, compassion and concern for the less fortunate in the community will be a lasting tribute.

Terry Tidd, 87, from Monks Orchard, died last week in Petersfield Hospital after a short illness.
