SUNDAY parking could be free in some Alton car parks after East Hampshire District Council reviews its charging scheme.
It comes after months of wrangling over Sunday car parking charges brought in by the district council last April. The new proposals are expected to get the green light at next Wednesday's meeting of the cabinet.
