SWAPPING their classroom for a French-style café, children from Liss Junior School served up a variety of delights in their very best Francais last week.
The taste of France gave youngsters from classes JA and SH the chance to let their parents and grandparents see the young linguists put into practice all they had achieved during the last term.
Waiters and waitresses took the orders for refreshments including tea, coffee croissants and gateau, all spoken in French.
French songs were also on the menu as the children entertained their special guests.
The year three and year four pupils from the Hill Brow Road school are pictured. Picture order no: PD48-92-13 (petersfieldherald.com).
