THE Friends of Farnham Hospital delivered a sack-full of presents to bring festive cheer to inpatients in the build-up to Christmas.

Friends chairman George Alford and committee members visited all three wards on December 19 and patients were both surprised and delighted with their gifts.

Diana Martin, of the Friends, said: “It is always a pleasure to bring joy to the patients at this time of year and make their stay over the festive period extra special.”

Community matron Sue Anderson and ward matron Sue Green also helped with distribution, and the wards were also provided with funds for treats for all on Christmas Day.
