WHITEHILL Village Hall has received a funding boost of £250 from Taylor Wimpey as part of its ongoing donation box scheme.

The village hall was one of three causes nominated for the scheme at the Dukes Quarter development in Bordon, in which visitors voted for which charity or organisation they would like to see receive a donation.

Alan Waterhouse, chairman at the village hall, said: “Thanks to the kind donation from Taylor Wimpey we can continue to welcome more new members from the expanding community of Whitehill and Bordon.”

While Mary O’Brien, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey South Thames, added they hope the donation can “help the volunteers continue the good work they are currently doing”.
