THE FURNITURE Helpline was given help itself when the charity received a grant of £1,000 from Whitehill town councillors on Monday.
The charity had requested £2,000 so that it could still employ its electrical engineer Bill Bailey - which the charity's general manager David Kidd described as "vitally important."
