Greggs has opened its doors in Farnham, welcoming customers on Thursday, September 4, to its new East Street location.

The baked goods store features a modern design with plenty of indoor seating and will open Monday to Saturday from 6.30am to 8pm, and Sunday from 8am to 6pm.

The launch marks Greggs’ first shop in Farnham and has created 12 new jobs for the local community.

Shop manager Ana Rudico said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop.

“We’ve got an amazing range of iconic savouries, Fairtrade hot drinks, hot food and healthier choices available for takeaway, sit-in or Click + Collect.”

Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, added: “Our new shop in Farnham has brought 12 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites.”

The shop will serve freshly prepared classics such as the famous sausage roll, alongside new additions like the sizzling chicken fajita bake, with vegan options also available.

To promote the Greggs app, staff have been handing out cards encouraging customers to sign up for perks and rewards.
