THE Sandy Hill Community Bungalow is inviting people to ‘Have a Go’ at a range of new skills or take part in a taster session next week, as part of the 2017 Festival of Learning.

At the Have a Go Week event running from June 26 to June 30 visitors will have the opportunity to try some of the wide range of activities available, all for free. Learn some Spanish for your holiday, make a quilted tissue holder, have a go at mindfulness, or go Totally Hooplas.

Cathy Burroughs, centre manager, said: “We are looking forward to being part of the Festival of Learning this year by demonstrating what Sandy Hill Community Bungalow has to offer.

“Getting involved and learning is an important part of what we do and we look forward to opening our doors to anyone who is interested in having a go at something new and helping them to find a new activity or hobby.”
