PATIENT Groups at Alton's Chawton Park Surgery and The Wilson Practice (Alton Health Centre) joined forces to launch an Alton Community Support Directory on Friday.

There are many voluntary and community groups that provide support and services but that finding out who they are and what they do is not always easy.

The two patient groups decided that an Alton Community Support Directory was needed and they set about researching what services were available and how they could be contacted.

Their work has now resulted in a new directory which will be available as a hard copy booklet and subsequently in online.
