THE Farnham Hedgehogs are supporting long-term residents at The Woodlarks Centre in Lodge Hill Road move to greater independent living including Sharon Abercrombie who has recently received a new mobility scooter kindly donated by Paul Elmer.
Woodlarks approached the Hedgehogs to help with providing support to facilitate this major change for the better in Sharon’s life.
Commenting on the move, The Woodlarks Trust, said: “We are very grateful to the Farnham Hedgehogs for their support in enabling Sharon, who has been a resident at Woodlarks for eight years, to move on to live independently near family in Sussex.
“She has waited patiently for sheltered housing to be made available to her, during which time she has worked hard on her independent living skills. She has been on a cookery course and she has been buying household items and tucking them away in readiness. We wish her every happiness in her new home.”
