A RUNFOLD man walking around his garden on Tuesday was most surprised to find himself face to face with... an emu.

Mike Regan, of Camp Hill, Runfold, first spotted the bird behind the tennis court in his garden. It spent the night in the enclosed court before being taken back to its owner about half a mile away on Wednesday morning.
