HART District Council is looking for people to help with this year’s elections.

The elections team are looking for people to help out as poll clerks, presiding officers and vote counters on May 5 and May 6.

Hart electoral services manager Andrew Tiffin said: “There are a variety of paid roles available which give you the chance to play a part with your community to help run the 2016 elections.”

A district council spokesman said successful applicants will need to demonstrate reasonable levels of numeracy, integrity, calmness, patience and stamina.
