HEY Ewe! – billed as "a baa-rilliant Nativity musical" – was the Christmas offering at St John's Infant School, Churt this week.

Leading up to the traditional Nativity scene, the play told how the smallest, youngest and most inquisitive sheep came to be involved in the Christmas story.

With a gospel choir of angels, calypso kings and square-dancing sheep, it was an upbeat production that combined traditional and modern songs.

After each performance the parent teacher association provided mulled wine and mince pies for the audience of families and friends.
