EVEN with one of its own members chairing one of Whitehill Town Council's specialist groups, the Bordon Area Action Group is predicting that East Hampshire District Council will continue to "dismiss objections" to its plan to build up to 5,000 homes.

The action group is calling for a referendum in which townsfolk would be asked: "Do you support the council's plan to double the size of Bordon?"
