IT was smiles all round as children from Petersfield Infant School presented 700 books to visitors from its link school in Zimbabwe.

Guests from Little Angels Nursery & Pre-School joined youngsters in a special assembly at the St Peter's Road school introduced by Sam Turner, geography coordinator and Year 2 teacher.

"The school and our visitors are overwhelmed by the generosity of our children who have donated all the secondhand books which will be shipped to the nursery shortly," said acting headteacher Allyson Crew.
