VISITORS are invited Rowledge Village Fayre this Bank Holiday Monday from 12pm onwards, to enjoy everything the community has to offer from the Pimms tent and farmer’s market, to the sounds of Farnham Brass Band and, of course, the loveable dog show.
The fayre, which has been running for more than three decades, is the perfect opportunity to come together and meet the neighbours.
As well as the goings on listed above, there will be food and drink stalls including cream teas, candy floss and a barbecue, competitions, fair ground rides, bric-a-brac stalls, plant stalls and craft displays.
Keep the children entertained on the bouncy castle and the super slide, watching Punch and Judy, in a game of tug-of-war, or on Rowledge’s very own Total Wipe Out course.
More than 50 organisations and charities will be attending to raise much-needed funds. These will include Rowledge School, South Farnham School, Alice Holt WI, St James’ Church, Rowledge Village Hall, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice ands Bells Piece, plus Hedgehogs, Lions and Rotary clubs.
The fayre is held on the Recreation Ground in the centre of Rowledge, bordered by Fullers Road, School Road and Recreation Road. The main entrance to the Recreation Ground is adjacent to School Road.
