JIGSAW School at Dunsfold Park, which educates children with autism spectrum disorders, has benefited from a cash boost.
Pupils will receive state-of-the-art interactive IT equipment thanks to donations totalling £2,200 collected by Guildford XRT Club and Guildford Round Table.
Jigsaw’s community and events fundraiser Yvette Copping said: “We are very grateful to both organisations for choosing Jigsaw as the charity to benefit from their fundraising efforts.
“The money will be used to purchase an interactive whiteboard, projector and computer for use in a classroom.
“This equipment is particularly beneficial to our pupils as it encourages collaborative working, something which many people with autism have difficulty with.
“On behalf of all the pupils and staff at Jigsaw School I would like to say a very big thank you to all those involved in raising such a huge amount of money for us,” she added.
