The Kings Pond community and stakeholder group meeting on November 11 has been moved to Alton Community Centre and will now start at 6.15pm.

It was initially scheduled to take place in the Alton Assembly Rooms at 6pm, but Alton Town Council believes the number of people wanting to attend will exceed the capacity of the meeting room and the main hall is unavailable.

Interest in the meeting has been increased by the news that members of the Farnham Water Rangers are planning to speak in favour of the pond and river option in an effort to improve the water quality of the River Wey in Farnham.
