THE Whitehill and Bordon town fireworks, funfair and lantern parade went off with a bang last week.

Held again at the Country Market, in Kingsley, the popular annual event offered all the attractions people have come to expect and more.

Organisers from the Whitehill and Bordon Town Partnership thanked everyone who attended last Wednesday, November 7.

“The weather was great for the display and you supported us in large numbers,” they added. “Thank you also to the team of volunteers who set up, run and clear away the event – without them we could not run the fireworks. We would also like to thank our sponsor Country Market for once again supporting us. See you all at our next event.”

The partnership’s annual Christmas fair is on Saturday, December 1, in and around the Forest Community Centre.
