PEOPLE in Farnham have one last chance to vote on a major shake-up of Farnham town centre ahead of next week's referendum deadline. MP Jeremy Hunt, who has organised the Farnham Pedestrian Referendum, has called on residents to send a "clear message" to political leaders of their desire to find a solution to Farnham's chronic traffic issues. Residents are being asked whether or not they support the principal of a 'shared space' and part-pedestrianisation scheme in Downing Street, The Borough and Castle Street. Voting papers must be returned by post to arrive no later than noon next Thursday. For full story, see this week's Farnham Herald.
