FARNHAM, Fleet and Aldershot Lions have launched the 2018 Easter Eggstravaganza on behalf of the Kent Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance.
The three Lions clubs have supplied the eggs kits to over 90 locations around Farnham, Fleet and Aldershot where the proprietors have once again agreed to support the air ambulance by hosting a giant Easter egg with its attendant little Lion.
Anybody can stand a chance of winning the egg and lion for the small amount of £1 by picking the Lion’s name in a draw.
The Eggstravaganza has once again been sponsored by Weyfest who contribute to reducing the costs of the egg kits, and also provide two all-weekend tickets for the 2018 Weyfest music festival worth over £220 to the location which raises the most money.
Last year the tickets were won by Badshot Lea Working Man’s Club after amassing a staggering total of £450, which the club promptly raffled to raise even more.
This is the 11th year of the Eggstravaganza and to date it has raised more than £70,000 locally for the air ambulance.
