LOCAL supporters are jubilant this week following news that the charity leading the fight to save Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital has beaten the deadline and submitted its own bid to buy Treloars on behalf of the community.
The offer has been made in the face of stiff competition from some of the country's biggest housing developers.
