AS the Christmas shopping season arrives, it seems people are happiest making their online purchases while sat in the comfort of their lounges.
A survey - by developer David Wilson Homes, which is building homes at the former Louisburg Barracks in Bordon - revealed that almost 60 per cent of people would rather do their shopping in their lounge than anywhere else in the house.
The study, into where people prefer to make their online purchases, found that the home office was also a popular option among those questioned, followed by the bedroom and kitchen.
The One Poll survey, commissioned ahead of the Christmas shopping season, revealed that those aged 18 to 24 were more likely to be ordering from their bedrooms while people over 55 were the most likely group to head to the dining room.
