A Wrecclesham man who was caught drink-driving in south Farnham has appeared in court.
Guildford Magistrates Court heard on Tuesday that Cem Bekir was narrowly over the legal drink-drive limit when pulled over on Weydon Lane.
The 46-year-old of Buttermer Close gave a reading of 107 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of blood, with 80/100 being the legal limit, after being stopped on September 23 last year.
Bekir was given a one-year disqualification, reduced to nine months on completion of a rehabilitation course, after admitting to a count of driving above the legal limit.
The defendant was also fined £461 and ordered to pay costs and charges totalling £269 with his guilty plea being taken into account by magistrates.
