There was drama in a Farnham neighbourhood last Friday as a man who failed to stop for police was later arrested for a handful of offences on a quiet cul-de-sac.
The chain of events began around 10pm when a vehicle that failed to stop for police on Crondall Lane was found on nearby Beavers Close.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of failure to stop, criminal damage and a public order offence.
He was also reported for driving without lights at night and without MOT and insurance. His arrest was not without commotion with the road being cordoned off for a period and a recovery vehicle being called.
The man has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
