ALTON Assembly Rooms will play host next Friday (November 24) to the town mayor’s charity quiz night.

Open to teams of up to six (maximum), the event aims to raise money for the Town Mayor’s Community Fund.

Starting at 7pm, the quiz has been written by Alton Lion Bill Tigg and will be presented by quizmaster for the evening, Alton mayor Dean Phillips.

The cost is £5 per person, and competitors are invited to bring their own drinks and nibbles.
