A CHILLING 999 call in which the victim of a shooting told operators she was "running for her life" formed the basis of the opening day of a Tilford pensioner's murder trial on Wednesday.
John Leo Lowe, 82, denies murdering Christine Lee, 66, and her daughter Lucy, 40, at Keepers Cottage Stud in Waverley Lane on February 23, 2014.
Police officers were called to the dog breeding farm shortly before 10am on February 23 following reports that a firearm had been discharged at the property.
They discovered the body of Christine Lee inside the main farm building and the body of Lucy Lee outside, near the animal pens.
The bodies of four dogs - three German shepherds and a Labrador - were also found.
Lowe, who has been remanded in custody at High Down Prison since his arrest, has also pleaded not guilty to possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
