BUSKERS took to the streets as Blue Trouser Records, a society of local musicians working together to promote and support live music, brought charitable festival, Oxjam, to town.

The annual celebration run by Oxfam, is a month-long music festival which raises money to support the charities mission to fight poverty worldwide.

This was just one of many events, organised by volunteers with a love for music, happening across the UK.

Live music took place in and around the Oxfam shops in East Street and The Woolmead, alongside many other Farnham locations, before moving to The William Cobbett pub later that day.

Evening party-goers were entertained by the likes of Dave Lambert, Peter Crutchfield, Mojo, The Hedge Inspectors, Vernons Friends and The Mark Nelson Band, plus many more.

Blue Trouser Records group member Catherine Williams said: “It all went well, got off to a quiet start at 6pm but the pub filled up as the evening wore on. We’re still awaiting the final amount of donations.”
