THE grand opening of Durham House Chiropractic’s Farnham studio has been hailed “a huge success”.

It attracted around 350 people and all taster classes were full and 80 people signed up for a course of sessions.

Durham House Chiropractic is an established multi-disciplinary clinic on East Street and is home to a number of qualified and experienced practitioners.

It offers classes in Pilates, yoga, core and stretch.

Galin Cleary, owner of Durham House Chiropractic Clinic, said: “We couldn’t have expected more and we’re delighted with the response. I was really grateful and relieved it went to plan with no hitches or weather issues.

“The weather enabled us to showcase the studio at its best with sun streaming through the skylight and the bi-fold doors open.

“The main surprise came from our older patients who seemed to be surprised how much they could achieve in the classes. I think having a practitioner (physio or chiropractor) teaching the classes helped them relax and not be anxious about injuring themselves.”

And she added: “It was lovely to see some of our 70 year olds signing up for regular classes. It’s exactly what we were trying to achieve. I can only hope we can continue in the way we have begun.”
