THE Farnham-based Surrey Institute of Art and Design is set to welcome its new deputy director, whose appointment was announced last week.
Mark Hunt, currently the head of the Sir John Cass department of art at London Guildhall University, will take up the position in January 2001, succeeding professor Gary Crossley, now the principal of the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
