THE threat of 5,000 new homes being built, proposed as part of the deal the Labour Government set for turning Bordon into an eco town, has been lifted.
The Delivery Board, overseeing the town Masterplan, confirmed, at a meeting last Thursday, that it was now only looking at 4,000 new homes in the eco town.
