The new owner of The Rose & Crown in Upper Farringdon and The Royal Exchange in Lindford is pleased with its first Hampshire acquisitions.

Brakspear completed their purchase from Farnham-based New Dawn Pubs on February 1.

Chief executive Tom Davies said: “Both pubs enjoy an excellent reputation locally and we’re confident that they will continue to thrive, particularly as we move into the summer, thanks to their attractive outdoor trading spaces.”
