THE grand opening of Churt’s new post office and extended village shop has been postponed until Wednesday, September 20.

As reported in last week’s Herald, Churt had hoped to celebrate the opening of its first post office in a decade at the beginning of next month.

However, owing to the refurbishment of the shop taking longer than expected, that date has now been pushed back two and a half weeks.
