THESE two youngsters each received a teddy bear as they were welcomed to Headley's Holme School on Monday, when they joined 12 other four year olds in the reception class for their first day.

All the reception-class children were given teddy bears.

Soon they, and those in class two (the five to six year olds) will be able to use the school's newly-turfed play area, which will be fitted with a canopy so they can still go outside and play even when it is raining.
